So busy lately.
Got a job at an animation company, and I am totally loving my job there.

Hopefully soon I will have time for a photoshoot.

The other day, my fiancé and I were almost late for our shift, so we took a cab to work. I usually ask cab drivers if they have already started the meter running. Just a confirmation since I had experienced dealing with unfair drivers and drivers who forgets to start up the meter. Well, I don't think it's offensive to ask this question so I asked the driver. My fiancé and I were surprised by the driver's answer.

"Kung wala naman pala kayong tiwala sakin bumaba na kayo, humanap na lang kayo ng ibang taxi" ("If you don't even trust me then get out, find another taxi")

I was surprised coz I just asked the driver if he already started the meter running. I told him that we're in a hurry but he insisted that we get out. I told him that what he's doing is not right, that we are the customers here. (Plus I asked in a VERY nice way) Still, he insisted that we don't trust him and get out of his cab. I told him I would report this incident and this might acuse his job, yet, he's still insisting us to look for another cab. So we get out of the (decrepit) cab. when my fiancé was about to copy the plate number of the cab, the driver speed up... we weren't able to get the plate number.

Lesson, before loading a cab, make sure you already have the plate number in case things like this happen.


And by the way, why would I trust the driver, he looks like those mustached side kicks of villains in Filipino action movies.
